HISTORY
Jeanette L. Garcia & Associates is a local firm providing service in the area of audit, general accounting, and financial and management consulting services. The firm was previously a part of Boceta, Macon,Workman & Associates and has been providing quality audit and accounting services for over 30 years.
The firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. The firm is also a member of the AICPA Quality Review Program. In accordance with the fourth general standard for government auditing, organizations conducting government audits should have an external quality control review at least once every three years.
The firm has a wide range of experiences in auditing and management services with an emphasis in audits of local educational agencies. Nearly one hundred percent of our gross revenues are generated from providing auditing and other services to local educational agencies.
Accordingly, the majority of the firm’s expendable resources are dedicated to maintaining and improving our knowledge and skills in this complex area. In addition to providing services to local educational agencies, the firm provides auditing, accounting and tax services to several nonprofit agencies.
